SPHeRE Network 6th Annual Conference

Linda Drummond (Project Lead) is attending the SPHeRE Conference today, 25 February, to present a poster on Ireland’s first National Maternity Experience Survey.

The poster outlines the various steps involved in developing the National Maternity Experience Survey and includes information on the survey questionnaire, stakeholder engagement and the types of reports we will publish in order to communicate the survey findings.

This survey aims to learn from the experiences of women to improve maternity care and inform policy and regulation activities in Ireland.

The HSE, HIQA and the Department of Health have committed to using the feedback to develop quality improvements and to inform policy development and regulatory activities to improve Irish maternity services.

The findings of the survey will be published on our website in September 2020.
