Shared Experiences – The Journey So Far

Galway University Hospitals has taken on and hosted a number of initiatives and events dedicated to the patient experience. The patient experience committee at Galway University Hospitals hosted their second Patient Experience Conference, “Shared Experiences – The Journey So Far,” on 4 December 2018 in the Clayton Hotel, Galway.

A master class was facilitated by the guest speaker at the conference, Professor Michael West, who described four behaviours that really make a difference when interacting with patients. To maintain the improvement with regards to patient experience and satisfaction, Galway University Hospitals will continue to integrate feedback and concerns, as well as respect and listen to patients, families, and carers from all communities.
