Cavan and Monaghan Hospitals - Published October 2020
The majority of women who gave birth in Cavan General Hospital said they had an overall positive maternity experience. 88% said their maternity care was good or very good, compared with 85% nationally. Women who gave birth in the hospital rated their experiences of ‘care after the birth while in hospital’ and ‘feeding’ above the national average, with all other stages scoring close to the national average.
