Accessing survey data for research purposes

The aim of this module is to support learners to request, access and navigate the National Care Experience Programme survey data for the purpose of undertaking additional analysis.

Learning outcomes

By the end of the module, you will be able to:

• describe the advantages of secondary data analysis
• identify the different data sets available from the National Care Experience Programme
• describe the procedures that must be followed with regard to the release,
  subsequent analysis and publication of the National Care Experience
  Programme data
• describe the conditions for using National Care Experience Programme data.
