Yourexperience.ie is the new home of the National Care Experience Programme.

A joint initiative by HIQA, the HSE and the Department of Health, the National Care Experience Programme asks people about their experiences of health and social care services in order to improve the quality of care in Ireland.

We conduct surveys, publish our findings and share them with service providers, policy makers and the public. The survey results help service providers, such as the HSE, to identify areas that need improvement and introduce meaningful, effective changes to their services.

The programme includes the National Inpatient Experience Survey, which is currently in its third year, and the new National Maternity Experience Survey, which gets underway in February 2020. The programme will expand to include two additional surveys of health or social care services by 2021.

Our new website makes it easier to learn more about these surveys, view annual survey results and find out how service providers are improving care based on your feedback. You can also sign up to be notified as soon as the results of our surveys have been published.

In addition, if you have received an invitation to participate in one of our surveys, you can do so on yourexperience.ie by entering your unique survey code.
