The month of the National Inpatient Experience Survey has changed as a result of the cyber attack

Unfortunately, as a result of the cyber attack on HSE systems, we are unable to capture the experiences of people discharged from public hospitals during the month of May. We plan to move the National Inpatient Experience Survey to later in the year.

We acknowledge that this is a very difficult time for all HSE staff and patients.

We appreciate all the work that all our colleagues within the HSE have done in order to roll out and support the National Inpatient Experience Survey 2021. Thank you to all the hospital staff for your continued support.

Patients who were discharged from one of the participating hospitals during the month of May will not receive a survey in the post to complete. However, they can still give feedback about their experience directly to the HSE by contacting their hospital directly or the HSE’s Your Service, Your Say by calling 045 880429.
